"Kasimir and Karoline" is a folk play by the Austro-Hungarian playwright Ödön von Horváth. It is set during the Munich Oktoberfest in the 1930s and tells the story of Kasimir, an unemployed chauffeur, and Karoline, his fiancée. The play focuses on social inequality, the effects of the Great Depression, and the characters' personal conflicts. It offers a tragicomic portrayal of everyday life and the desperate search for happiness in a time characterised by disappointment and despair.

The project was completed in the third semester. It includes the conception of three characters, of which the character Erna was realised.
