Il Dottore is a character from the
commedia dell'arte, an Italian theatre tradition of the 16th to 18th centuries. He is an elderly man, often a doctor or professor, who is characterised by his supposed erudition. However, Il Dottore is also known for his ridiculousness and pompous pride. His character often provides comic scenes and is regarded as one of the fools of the commedia dell'arte.

The project is a second-semester project in which the task was to design and realise a specially designed puppet with a costume.
