Robert:
The Skeleton

2024

A project by:

2024

The project revolves around the character Robert, a small stop-motion puppet made of Sculpey and wire, whose world is experimentally explored and expanded in various scenes. The goal of the project is to create unique microcosms using just one character and small sets, all interconnected through Robert, revealing his personality and life. The project is continuously evolving, with new scenes regularly added that emerge organically from spontaneous ideas.

Currently, Robert's everyday stories are told in three acts:

In the first sequence, Robert wakes up after a night of heavy drinking in a deserted street corner. The set for this scene was crafted using various materials and detailed painting techniques to create a semi-realistic, painterly style. The scene was later enhanced with 2D animation effects in Photoshop.

The second sequence takes viewers into Robert's home – a space that provides deep insight into his personality and interests. The wallpaper, furniture, and props were mostly handmade.

In the third sequence, Robert wanders through deserted, melancholic alleys.
