"The Old Man Willow" is a small stop-motion project inspired by a scene from the first part of J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings". The hobbit figures are about 4cm tall and consist of a wire frame. The clothing is made of paper, as it was not possible to work with fabric at this scale. The Old Man Willow is also based on a wire frame, the movable parts consist of latex and paper marché.
